As all Creangas fairy tales and this one begins with „once upon the time" and finishes with „they lived richly and happily ever after".
after". His characters are taken as in „The she goat with three kids" from the world of animals. So, the comic is derived from the animal cleverness, who symbolically are speaking, thinking and acting, or simulating like human beings. In our show the original version is well preserved, but there are new characters which, in each scene, are emphasizing the roosters qualities. The show has humour, charm, fun, ingredients which can amuse both children and adults. Ion Creangă (1837- 1889 ) was a Romanian writer, stroryteller and memoirist. Details of Creangăs youth can be extracted from his "Memories of My Boyhood". He began his education in Humuleşti, then he studied briefly at Broşteni before returning home and enrolling at a school in the neighbouring Târgu Neamţ. After a year at the seminary in Fâlticeni, Creangă left for Iaşi, where he continued to prepare for priesthood at the school of the Socola Monastery.Soon,Creangă became a deacon and then he resumed his education in 1864, when he began studying to become a teacher at the Vasile Lupu School. He became a substitute teacher, and collaborated in the writing of textbooks designed to help primary school pupils to learn how to read and write. Mihai Eminescu encouraged Creangă to write down the tales that he frequently recounted orally, and brought him to the Junimea literary society. The bulk of Creangăs work was written during this period, between 1875 and 1883. Beside his masterpiece, Memories of my boyhood, some of his most famous stories are Dănilă Prepeleac,The pigs story, Old womans daughter and old mans daughter, Ivan Turbincă and Harap Alb, etc.
